Dr. Shanti Ramanlingam is a distinguished academician and national leader in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital transformation in education. She currently serves as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Technology Development and Management Centre, Institute Aminuddin Baki (IAB), Ministry of Education Malaysia.


With more than two decades of experience, she has contributed extensively to leadership development, educational technology, digital governance, and AI-enabled school transformation. Her work supports national initiatives such as MyDIGITAL, Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013–2025, Digital Education Policy, and RMK-12.

Dr. Shanti holds a PhD in Education and Social Science, a Master’s degree in Educational Administration, and a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Sociology. She has served as a Senior Lecturer, trainer, advisor, and subject matter expert for national and international education programmes.


She has played a vital role in developing AI-integrated leadership modules, managing learning management systems, and conducting capacity-building programmes for school leaders, district officers, and ministry officials.
