Faseeha shafeeq is from huvadhoo province of Maldives. She is immensely proud to be a member of one of the largest fishing families in the Maldives. Their sustainable pole and line fishing practices have been the backbone of their livelihood for decades which have strengthened the bond with in their family. She is part of Kamana family legacy, preserving their traditions while embracing progress. Faseeha graduated with bachelor of business administration at Maldives national university in 2012. Her master’s degree was on business administration from open university of Malaysia, which was affiliated with villa college. in 2021 local council election with a super majority, she was elected as vice president of madaveli council. In 2018 she was appointed as manager of the madaveli health center by former president yamen Abdul gayoom. Where she spreadhead transformative,initiatives and delivered top – notch services. With an astute understanding of the intricacies of both public and private sector, she seamlessly navigates between them, making a significant impact in each realm.
