Dr. Sazina Khan has won Distinguished Achiever Award
Sazina Khan hails from Chandigarh, in India
and has acquired her doctorate degree along with four master’s degrees, TESOL
from Trinity College, specialized educationist in climate change from
UNESCO, to name a few certificates in her kitty. “Plan
delivery and reflection” is her philosophy and is a toastmaster,
keynote speaker at international bootcamps for researchers.
She now lives in Dubai and is associated with the
esteemed BEAM group as the Head of Department and board member of the ARV
inspection team, apart from chairing the ASCS Literacy Committee, being a mentor
for budding poets, and a life coach. As a logophile, she
indulges in a diverse range of writing that portrays her
awareness about the fast-moving cosmopolitan world and the issues concerning
it.
Well known for her contribution in the field of
education and international poetry symposiums across years, she shares a unique
cultural lens when mentoring budding poets and merging several worlds and
passions for poetry altogether. Her poetry book, The Chamber of Expressions
came out in September 2020 and became a bestseller in poetry
category on Amazon within no time. The book received raving reviews from all
over the world and became the No. 1 best seller in poetry within 48
hours of release. The book also brought 14 other various accolades including
Author of the Year at NE8x International Literature Festival, Sahityakosh
Samman Award and Inspiring Author of the Year in 2021, to name a few.
Her second book, From Shadows to Souls was published in July
2021 and the books gained its attention within the literary circle and received
18 awards for ‘Book of the Year’ in Poetry category, Author of the
Year at NE8x International Literature Festival, Sahityakosh Samman Award and
Inspiring Author of the Year in 2022. Alongside this, the author has
received the award titled, ‘Women Changemaker of the Year’ for her
contribution in literature.
The latest literary award was felicitated by A3 Foundation, the
esteemed foundation for research and promotion of sustainable Art and
Architecture. in March 2024 in the prestigious award
category.
My third book "Echoes of the Heart", published on July
7 2024 at the India Habitat Centre, received extensive media coverage such as
Timesnow, GNT, Aaj Tak, Adgully, Todays Author to name a few and was
honored with the Gulf Achievers Award recently. The fourth book, “Wounds and
Wonders” highlights the subtle nuances of how life offers experiences
that resonate the struggles and triumphs of our daily life.
As a philanthropist, she has been the founding member
of an NGO “Healing Himalayas Foundation” which is well known and awarded by P.M
Narendra Modi and regularly engages in other volunteering
opportunities across UAE.
