From the beautiful region of the East, where I proudly recognize Sarawak as my home, my journey has been filled with varied experiences and a constant drive to inspire and support those around me.

Starting my career as an educator, I was deeply committed to teaching students from di?erent walks of life. Every interaction, especially with the native children, reinforced my belief that personalized education and sincere mentorship can bring out the best in individuals. Many remember the additional English classes I began, showcasing my dedication to help those eager to learn.

As I shifted into the fintech industry, I took on the role of Director for a virtual bank. In this capacity, I played a crucial part in shaping its direction, ensuring that our innovative financial solutions reached our customers efficiently. Every decision I made aimed at making financial services more available to everyone.

At the same time, my passion for social upliftment led to the founding of the NGO, PPIS Pertubuhan Pembangunan Insan Sarawak(PPIS). More than just an organization, PPIS works tirelessly to bridge educational gaps, deliver essential social services, and empower women and children to find their voice and purpose. Our teams have launched community-based programs, conducted workshops, and built environments conducive to learning and personal growth.

Amidst these professional roles, I faced the personal challenge of being a single parent to my four sons, enduring the devastating loss of one a decade ago. The pain of that loss, coupled with the responsibilities of single parenthood, never deterred my spirit.

Furthermore, my dedication to community development saw me serve diligently as a councillor for six impactful years, advocating for the needs and voices of the community.

While my professional paths may seem diverse, they all share a common goal: to uplift, educate, and empower. The values I adopted during my teaching days – hard work, determination, and a genuine love for learning – continue to be the foundation of all my endeavors.
