I am an Edupreneur and an Educationalist from Malaysia, a franchisee in a worldwide franchise preschool & Primary School business Smart Reader Kids. Smart Reader Kids and Smart Reader Worldwide is an international multi award-winning programme that offers innovative preschool education programmes for ages 4-6 years old and 7-12 years old. The brand is recognised as one of the premier choice among parents in Malaysia. 

I completed my Diploma in Education and Teachers Training in 2001 at Maktab Perguruan Pulau Pinang. Following on this, I completed Master in Education at Open University Malaysia. Currently in my final year completing EdD, Doctor of Education majoring in Instructional Technology at Open University Malaysia.  

As to fulfill my young years ambition, I took up Law and successfully obtained Higher Certification in Law from University of London.

All in all, I had 24 years of experience in the education line. Watching children learning and growing to be a successful individual is a rewarding experience for me. As an educationalist, I believe in holistic and humanizing teaching and learning. Through education we able to incorporate great values in young minds and shape the future generations with necessary living skills to make them face the challenges in the future world.  

As to further my business venture and growth in 2024 I upgrade my personal development in the field of Special Need Education. I completed few Certificate courses and Advanced Diploma courses in the field of Special Need Education and Diploma in Occupational Therapy. Starting up a Special Need Education School is my future goal.

As a school leader, I managed my staff to be in accordance to the rules and regulation set by the school management and at the same time I would call myself a transformational leader. I am a visionary principal, that belief in the teachers, share out the power and discuss the plans and stimulate their intellectual development. At the same time, I am a highly inspired & Visionary person and a strong motivator.

My goal in life is to be a role model for my daughter, not only by being a successful edupreneur but also a respected human being with positive belief. As a lifelong learner, I hope to gain more knowledge and contribute to the education field in Malaysia.

Throughout my journey as an Edupreneur, I had received various awards. Recently, In 2024 I received Amazing Malaysia Book of Record Award “THE BRILLIANCE AND MOST OUTSTANDING EDUCATOR & EDUPRENEUR” “STAR OF FLAIR” Award. Thank you to Queen Book for recognition with Women’s No.1 Achiever Awards” Under the category, “Queen Book School Awards” “Inspiring Edupreneur Award” I am extremely proud to receive this award and recognition. 

I also would like to thank my parents, brothers, my daughter and well wishers for being very supportive throughout my journey as an Edupreneur. With this achievement I am sure to bring pride not only to myself and family but also to my entire profession.
