Born and raised in Malé City, Maldives, Shahida Mohamed has built an esteemed career in the travel and tourism industry with over two decades of experience. Her journey in the field began with a passion for travel and customer service, which she nurtured through continuous learning and hands-on experience.

After completing her education at Aminiya School, she pursued professional certifications in Amadeus, Abacus, and computer applications, laying the foundation for her expertise in airline ticketing and reservations. Always eager to expand her knowledge, she is currently pursuing an IATA Consultancy Degree to stay at the forefront of the evolving travel industry.

Shahida’s professional career took off at Vill Travels, where she spent seven years mastering the intricacies of the travel business. She then moved on to Ace Travels, dedicating another seven years to further developing her skills in fare calculations, itinerary planning, and customer service. Her next milestone was a nine-year tenure at Global Reach, where she refined her abilities in handling complex travel arrangements, customer relations, and global distribution systems (GDS).

In 2023, she took a bold step forward by founding and heading the Travel Department at TTS Group (Clarion Company). Under her leadership, the department has grown significantly, providing seamless travel solutions, specializing in Umrah and Hajj travel coordination, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to clients. Her knowledge of Amadeus and Abacus GDS systems has been instrumental in optimizing operations and efficiency.

Apart from her contributions to airline ticketing, Shahida is also known for her strong leadership and event management skills. In 2024, as CFT Head, she successfully managed 96 staff members, overseeing a variety of activities throughout the year. Her ability to coordinate and execute large-scale events has made her a key figure in both travel and corporate event planning.

Beyond her professional life, Shahida is a devoted mother and a strong family-oriented individual. Despite her demanding career, she balances her work and personal life with dedication and perseverance.
